Regulation (NAP) - Reassignment of Portfolios of the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe

Subject: Reassignment of Portfolios of the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe.

Following the restructuring of the Administrative Council of the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe (CA) on April 5 of this year; It being necessary to update Regulation (NAP) No. 019/2016 defining the Reassignment of Portfolios of the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe; In these terms, the Administrative Council of the Central Bank, pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 57(2) of Law No. 28/92, assigned to its members during its extraordinary session held on May 2, 2017, the portfolios corresponding to one or more structural units;

Article 1. (Distribution of Portfolios)

  1. Governor Belki Silva Almeida a) Governor's Office - (GOV); b) Internal Audit and Compliance Office - (IAO); c) Financial Institutions Supervision Directorate - (FISD); d) Information Systems Directorate - (ISD);

  2. Vice Governor Massari Lima Sousa Pontes a) Payment Systems Directorate - (PSD); b) Issuance and Treasury Directorate - (ITD);

  3. Administrator Dilson Tiny a) Economic Studies Directorate - (ESD); b) Economic and Financial Statistics Directorate - (EFSDD);

  4. Administrator Gareth Guadalupe a) Human Resources Directorate - (HRD); b) Accounting and Internal Control Directorate - (ACID); c) Organization and Documentation Directorate - (ODD);

  5. Administrator Jackilina Trindade a) Behavioral Supervision and Consumer Support Office - (BSO); b) Markets and Liquidity Management Directorate - (MLMD);

Article 2. (Revocation)

Regulation (NAP) No. 019/2016 of November 14, 2016 - Reassignment of Portfolios of the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe, is hereby revoked.

Article 3. (Entry into force and publication)

This regulation enters into force on May 3, 2017, and shall be published on the intranet site of the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe.
