Reporting Security Incidents
The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority requires all banks operating in the Kingdom to report any security incidents, such as theft, armed robbery, vandalism, ATM removal, or cash-in-transit attacks, to local security authorities. Banks must additionally notify SAMA’s Cash Centers and Operations Supervision Department by completing the attached incident report form and submitting it via the designated email address. This directive addresses observed reporting deficiencies and establishes a mandatory standardized procedure for all bank facilities and operations.
