To: All Approved Dealers engaged in Foreign Exchange Transactions.

Dear Sirs,

Subject: Submission of Return for Foreign Exchange Transactions.

Reference is invited to Section 5 of Chapter 2 of the Foreign Exchange Rules, 2009 (Gazette Notification No. 2009-26/115/82/FX-Rules/2009) and Order No. 09 of the Bangladesh Bank Order No. 220/2012-26 dated 09.06.2012.

2. The Additional Governor has directed that Approved Dealers submit the Exporter’s Return for Foreign Exchange Transactions (e.g., PRC and relevant schedules) to the Export Trade Department, the Importer’s Return for Foreign Exchange Transactions (e.g., IMP and relevant schedules) to the Import Trade Department, and the Remittance-related Return (e.g., TM, C-Form and relevant schedules) and consolidated statements to the Remittance Monitoring Department, through the respective internal departments of their head offices.

3. These instructions are applicable only for the submission of returns in the Dhaka region. Please kindly inform all your Approved Dealers (and all concerned parties) regarding this matter. Approved Dealers outside Dhaka shall continue to submit returns to the Area Offices of Bangladesh Bank as before.

4. The monthly return must be submitted by the 10th of the following month. These instructions shall be effective from May 2015.
