FEOD Circular Letter No. 05: Waiver of overdue bill of entry

Bangladesh Bank instructs all approved dealer banks to replace the phrase 'approval of this department' with 'approval of Bangladesh Bank (within own control)' in the final line of Circular Letter No. 03 dated March 2, 2015. This correction applies to the context of providing waivers for overdue bills of entry related to goods cleared more than four months after shipment.

Customs Certified Bill of Entry for goods cleared more than 4 months after shipment Regarding the provision of waiver for overdue bill of entry.

Dear Sir,

With reference to Circular Letter No. 03 issued by this department on 02/03/2015 AD, it is informed that the phrase 'approval of this department' in the last line of the said Circular Letter should be read as 'approval of Bangladesh Bank (within own control)'.
