Regarding Unique ID reporting on Online TM Form Monitoring System (OTFMS) and Online Inward Remittance Monitoring System (OIRMS).

Attention is drawn to the instructions mentioned in Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions-2018, Volume-1, Chapter-5, Para-2(b) and Para-10(b).

2. As per the instructions mentioned in the said paragraphs of the Guidelines, Invisible Outward and Invisible Inward Remittance transactions are reported by AD Banks in OTFMS and OIRMS. Instructions are hereby given to report in the newly added 'Unique ID of Applicant' and 'Unique ID of Beneficiary' fields in the reporting forms of OTFMS and OIRMS, effective from 01/10/2022.

3. In the 'Unique ID of Applicant' and 'Unique ID of Beneficiary' fields, the National ID card number of all individual customers, or passport number if the National ID card number is not applicable for a customer, the TIN number of the institution if it is an institution, and 'Govt. Body' if the customer is a government institution, must be reported.
