Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh must report information from commercial invoices and other relevant documents via a new 'Commercial Invoice' tab in the Online Import Monitoring System. This requirement is effective from 01 November 2025 and must be executed following the procedures outlined in the OIMS Commercial Invoice Data Entry/Upload Manual.

All Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh Dear Sir, Reporting of information from Commercial Invoice and other relevant documents through Online Import Monitoring System. Authorized Dealers (ADs) are reporting import transaction and information in Online Import Monitoring System (OIMS) of Bangladesh Bank. To facilitate import OIMS has been integrated with designated Online Systems of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) through Application Programming Interface (API). 02. For further ease in import trade process, it has been decided to introduce a new reporting tab titled ÔCommercial Invoice’ in the OIMS, under which ADs are required to report information from commercial invoice and other relevant documents. In this context, ADs are advised to report those information following the procedures uploaded in Documents>Other Documents/Guidelines>Commercial Invoice Data Entry/Upload Manual of OIMS. 03. This circular is issued under Section 20 (3) of Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1947 and Section 45 (1) (Gha) of Bank Company Act, 1991, and will be effective from 01 November, 2025. 04.
