Subject: Regarding exclusion of Machine Processed Sliver (Cut Sliver)/Cut Jute from Raw Jute as a conditional exportable item in Annex-2 of Export Policy 2024-2027.

Dear Sirs,

In this regard, earlier instructions were issued through FEP Circular Letter No. 30, dated September 14, 2025, stating that 'Raw Jute' would be included in the list of conditional exportable items in Annex-2 of the Export Policy 2024-2027, pursuant to the circular issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, via Memo No. 26.00.0000.100.42.010.18.38- dated September 08, 2025.

Now, according to the circular issued by the Ministry of Commerce via Memo No. 26.00.0000.100.42.011.25.12- dated January 26, 2026, Machine Processed Sliver (Cut Sliver)/Cut Jute shall be considered excluded from 'Raw Jute' listed as a conditional exportable item in Annex-2 of the Export Policy 2024-2027.

The issued circular is attached herewith for your information and necessary action. It is requested to inform all concerned parties about this matter.

In continuation of the reference cited above, it is to inform you that the Ministry of Commerce has decided to exclude Machine Processed Sliver (Cut Sliver)/Cut Jute from the definition of 'Raw Jute' for the purpose of conditional exports under Annex-2 of the Export Policy 2024-2027. Therefore, Machine Processed Sliver (Cut Sliver)/Cut Jute will not be treated as 'Raw Jute' for export purposes under the said policy.

You are requested to take necessary action accordingly and inform all concerned parties.
