FEPD Circular Letter No. 01: Ban on Export of Raw Jute under Names of Uncut BTR and BWR
The Foreign Exchange Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank notifies authorized dealer banks of a government notification prohibiting the export of raw jute under the names of uncut BTR and BWR. This directive is issued in accordance with a gazette notification from the Ministry of Textiles and Jute dated January 18, 2018. Authorized dealer banks are required to take necessary measures to enforce this ban on raw jute exports.
