FEPD Circular Letter No. 05: Statutory business target for licensed Money Changers (MCs)
The instruction from FEPD Circular Letter No. 24, dated June 23, 2020, concerning the mandatory annual foreign exchange business volume for licensed Money Changers (MCs) to renew their licences, will apply until December 31, 2022. Other related instructions remain unchanged. This directive from Bangladesh Bank affects all Authorized Dealers and Licensed Money Changers in Bangladesh.

Please refer to FEPD Circular Letter No. 24, dated June 23, 2020 and Circular Letter No. 16, dated-June 27, 2021 regarding statutory business volume of foreign exchange transactions to be achieved annually by licenced MCs mandatorily for renewal of licences. The instruction mentioned in FEPD Circular Letter No. 24, dated June 23, 2020 shall be applicable till December 31, 2022. Other instructions in this regard shall remain unchanged.
