The document mandates that cash incentives and export subsidies for the export-oriented domestic textile sector and other applicable sectors for the 2017-18 fiscal year be audited by audit firms appointed by Bangladesh Bank-approved and concerned banks. If additional firms are required to expedite the audit process, banks must apply to Bangladesh Bank, providing justification and necessary information regarding the number of audit firms needed.

To All Approved Dealer Banks Head Office / Principal Office.
Dear Sirs,
Regarding the appointment of audit firms for the provision of cash assistance/export subsidy instead of duty drawback and duty draw-back in the export-oriented domestic textile sector and other applicable sectors.
Reference is drawn to your attention to Circular Letter No. FEPD(Com)291/2002-1367, dated: June 02, 2002 and Circular Letter No. FEPD(Export Policy)291/2014-13, dated June 29, 2014 issued on the subject matter mentioned above.
Just as in previous years, cases of cash assistance/export subsidy for the current 2017-18 fiscal year will also be audited by audit firms appointed by Bangladesh Bank-approved and concerned banks. However, if there is a need to appoint additional firms to expedite the audit work, an application must be made to Bangladesh Bank mentioning the number of audit firms, along with justification and necessary information regarding the same.
Yours faithfully,
(Md. Abdul Mannan) Deputy General Manager Phone: 9530319
