The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued the Hajj Package for 1443 Hijri/2022, which is attached to this circular for the information and necessary action of authorized dealer banks. Each Hajj pilgrim is permitted to carry a maximum of USD 1,200 or equivalent foreign currency in addition to the subsidized Hajj expenses, subject to the non-applicability of travel quotas and compliance with existing regulations. Authorized dealer banks are required to inform all concerned parties of the contents of this circular.

Dear Sir,
Subject: Performing Hajj 1443 Hijri/2022 AD under Government and Private Management.
In this regard, the "Hajj Package for 1443 Hijri/2022 AD" prepared by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh is attached herewith for your information and necessary action.
Each Hajj pilgrim may carry a maximum of USD 1,200/- (One Thousand Two Hundred) or equivalent amount in other foreign currencies in addition to the subsidized Hajj expenses. However, travel quotas shall not apply to Hajj pilgrims. In the case of release of the aforementioned foreign currency, existing rules and regulations must be followed appropriately.
Kindly inform all concerned parties about the subject matter of this circular letter.
