Foreign Exchange Policy Department Bangladesh Bank Head Office Dhaka www.bb.org.bd FE Circular Letter No.25 Date: September 13, 2021 Head offices/principal offices of all Authorized Dealers in Bangladesh Dear Sirs, Time extension of Bill of entry matching Please refer to FE Circular No. 13, dated March 19, 2020 in terms of which permission was given to extend the tenure of submission of bill of entry up to 60 days, as additional time from specified period of 4 months from the date of payments, for bonafide grounds which was effective till September 30, 2020. This facility was extended up to March 31, 2021 vide FE Circular No. 30, dated July 23, 2020. 02. Considering the ongoing situation due to Covid-19 pandemic, it has now been decided to extend the normal tenure of submission of bill of entry up to 60 days as additional time till December 31, 2021. Instructions contained in FE Circular No. 13/2020, FE Circular No. 30/2020 other relevant regulations with regards to trade transactions shall remain unchanged. Please bring the contents of this circular to the notice of your constituents concerned.
