FEPD Circular Letter No. 28: Outward remittances for internet services

Authorized Dealers in Bangladesh are permitted to effect outward remittances to beneficiaries abroad for service charges payable for internet services delivered in Bangladesh. This clarification expands the scope of FE Circular No. 27, which previously allowed remittances for bandwidth service imports by business entities incorporated in Bangladesh. All other existing instructions regarding these remittances remain unchanged.

This is to clarify that, within the framework of this circular, ADs may effect remittances to beneficiaries/designated parties abroad on account of service charges payable for internet services delivered in Bangladesh.
