FEPD Circular Letter No. 28: Submission of Application for allowing Cash incentive/Export subsidy under Special consideration
The Foreign Exchange Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank advises authorized dealer banks not to submit applications for cash incentives or export subsidies under special consideration to the central bank if the specific guidelines outlined in the relevant circulars have not been fully complied with. This directive applies to all authorized dealer banks and requires them to inform all concerned parties of this instruction.

Dear Sir,
Regarding submission of application for providing cash incentive under special consideration, besides following the instructions mentioned in the circular.
The policy regarding the payment of cash incentive/export subsidy has been stated in the relevant circulars/circular letters. It is observed that applications for providing such benefits under special consideration are often submitted by AD banks to Bangladesh Bank, without complying with the clear instructions mentioned in the relevant circulars, when considering the provision of cash incentive to any institution. You are advised not to submit such applications for cash incentive/export subsidy to Bangladesh Bank without complying with the clear instructions mentioned in the circulars.
You are requested to inform all concerned parties about this matter.
