Dear Sir,

Performing Hajj Under Private Management-1433 Hijri Year

In light of the direction of the Ministry of Religious Affairs' 1433 Hijri "Hajj Package-2012 Gregorian (1433 Hijri)" notification, the following directions are provided for the release of approved foreign exchange for performing Hajj under private management.

a) For performing Hajj in the 1433 Hijri year under private management, the government-determined expenses must be deposited according to the following breakdown:

(If the foreign exchange rate changes, there will be a difference in total cost)

(b) The last deadline for depositing the Hajj money (Muazzem Fee, Airfare and all other Hajj-related funds) for the 1433 Hijri year is 1st July, 2012.

(c) Hajj pilgrims will deposit money into the account determined by the Hajj Agency. However, agencies can only accept cash directly from Hajj pilgrims against receipts signed by the Agency's welcoming/management director/management chairman.

1. Under private management, all Hajj pilgrims can carry foreign currency equivalent to a maximum of US Dollar 500.00 (five hundred only) in addition to the total cost of Hajj by depositing cash into the approved expense account.

2. Foreign exchange will be issued with endorsement in the Consultant Return Air Ticket and International Passport based on application in Team Form under the existing system. No foreign exchange will be issued earlier than 2 (two) weeks before the travel date mentioned in the air ticket.

3. Approved dealers must ensure that the corresponding signature/thumb impression on the Hajj pilgrim's International Passport is taken in TM Form and the determined amount of foreign currency is handed over only to the concerned Hajj pilgrim.

It is requested to inform all concerned parties about the directions of this circular letter.
