FEPD Circular No. 01: Remittance against current account transactions

Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh may remit admissible expenses up to one percent of annual sales as declared in the previous year's income tax return of remitter-companies, or USD 100,000, whichever is higher. This decision simplifies the scope previously outlined in FE Circular No. 50 of November 19, 2020. All other existing instructions regarding this matter remain unchanged.

To bring further simplification, it has been decided that Authorized Dealers (ADs) may remit admissible expenses up to 1(one) percent of annual sales as declared in the previous year's income tax return of the concerned remitter-companies or USD 100,000 whichever is higher.
