Web site: www.bb.org.bd FE Circular No. 05 Date: April 25, 2012 All Authorized Dealers of Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh Dear Sirs, Amendment of import reporting schedule E-5/P-5 and export reporting schedule A-3/O-3 for border trade arrangement between Bangladesh and Myanmar Please refer to paragraph 8(a) and 8(e) of the Guidelin es for Foreign Exchan ge Transactions-2009, Vol. II regarding reporting of import and export tran sactions under border trade arrangement between Bangladesh and Myanmar. 02. In order to consolidate the transactio ns under border trade between Bangladesh and Myanmar with the entire transactions of import and export of the country, necessary amendments in the context of quantity, country, comm odity and category in Schedule A-3/O-3 and Schedule E-5/P-5 (copy enclosed) have been effected. 03. Amended Schedule A-3/O-3 and Schedul e E-5/P-5 with a separate summary statement S-1 are required to be subm itted to Bangladesh Bank, Chittagong Office. Another two sets (one for Statistics Departm ent of Bangladesh Bank, head office) of the sam e statements/schedules are required to be subm itted to the h ead office of respective authorized dealer banks. Before completion of the schedules, authorized dealers shall match information of Customs, Excise and VAT, Custom s Station, Te knaf, Cox’s bazar rece ived in the reporting month with the foreign demand drafts and encashment certificates issued by them. 04. While on reporting, statement S-1 shall be titled as “FOR TRANSACTIONS IN ALL CURRENCIES (EXCLUDING ACU DOLLAR AND ACU EURO) UNDER BORDER TRADE ARRANGEMENT BETWEEN BANGLADESH AND MYANMAR" and the nam e of schedule A-1/O-1 shall be replaced by A-3/O-3; and E-2/P-2 by E-5/P-5. 05.
