The document adds products manufactured from coconut coir fiber, whether handmade or mechanically produced, to the list of items eligible for cash incentives against export. For applications where the submission deadline has already passed, applicants are granted a 60-day window from the date of this circular to file their claims. All other instructions from previous circulars regarding these incentives remain unchanged.

Dear Sir,
Subject: Cash incentive against export of goods made of Coconut Coir along with handmade products made of Hogla, Khad, Sugarcane Bagasse, etc.
Reference is invited to FEP Circular No. 26 dated December 12, 2002 and Circular Letter No. FEPD(Export-1)291/Handmade(Policy)/2004-885 dated December 23, 2004 on the subject cited above. It is informed that products manufactured from coconut coir fiber (handmade or mechanically) will be included in the list eligible for cash incentive along with handmade products made of Hogla, Khad, Sugarcane Bagasse, etc. This cash incentive facility will be applicable for products manufactured from coconut coir fiber shipped during the period from July 2017 to June 2018. However, in cases where the submission deadline for applications for the aforementioned facility has already expired, applications may be submitted within 60 (sixty) days from the date of issuance of this circular. It is noted that the cash incentive for the export of handmade products made of Hogla, Khad, Sugarcane Bagasse, etc. will continue to be provided, and cash incentive will also be provided for products produced from coconut coir fiber.
In the case of receiving cash incentive against the export of the aforementioned products, all other instructions contained in FEP Circular No. 26 dated December 12, 2002 and all other FEP Circulars/Circular Letters issued on this subject will remain unchanged.
