FEPD Circular No. 09: Cash incentive for export of Potato
Bangladesh Bank's Foreign Exchange Policy Department extends the requirement for exporters to submit certificates from the Export Development Bureau, as specified in Annexure-C of FE Circular No. 40 dated October 20, 2019, regarding cash incentives for potato exports. This directive remains in force until the disposal of Writ Petition No. 3156/2020 filed by the Bangladesh Potato Exporters Association. The instructions are effective immediately and apply to all authorized dealers of foreign exchange transactions.

Subject: Cash assistance for the potato export sector.

Attention is invited to FE Circular No. 40, dated October 20, 2019, issued on the subject cited above. In the interest of continuing to provide cash assistance to the potato export sector in accordance with government decisions, the requirement to submit certificates from the Export Development Bureau as per Annexure-C of FE Circular No. 40, dated October 20, 2019, shall remain in force until the Writ Petition No. 3156/2020 filed by the Bangladesh Potato Exporters Association is disposed of.
