Dear Sir,

Subject: Provision of export incentive/cash assistance for the export of light engineering products under advance payment repatriation.

Reference is invited to FEPD Circular No. 03 dated February 28, 2006, paragraph 3(c) and FEPD Circular No. 27 dated July 14, 2020, on the subject cited above.

2. It is hereby informed that, in accordance with government decisions, for the export of light engineering products against repatriated advance payment from the fiscal year 2021-22, applications for export incentive will be eligible to be submitted within 180 days from the date of shipment of the goods, instead of the date of repatriation of the export proceeds.

3. All other relevant instructions in all FEPD circulars/circular letters concerning the payment of export incentive/cash assistance shall remain unchanged.

All concerned parties are advised to take note of the matter.
