FEPD Circular No. 25: Clearing arrangement with Bangladesh Bank in Chinese Yuan Renminbi(CNY)
Authorized Dealers (ADs) are permitted to open foreign currency clearing accounts with Bangladesh Bank in Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY). This authorization extends the existing clearing account facilities, which previously covered US Dollar, Pound Sterling, Euro, Japanese Yen, and Canadian Dollar, to include CNY. All other instructions regarding foreign exchange transactions remain unchanged.

Dear Sirs, Clearing arrangement with Bangladesh Bank in Chinese Yuan Renminbi(CNY) Attention of the Authorised Dealers (ADs) is invited to the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions (GFET) 2018, Vol‐1, Chapter 3, Paragraph 3(a) in terms of which AD banks maintain foreign currency clearing accounts with Bangladesh Bank in US Dollar, Pound Sterling, Euro, Japanese Yen and Canadian Dollar. It has now been decided that AD may open foreign currency clearing account with Bangladesh Bank in Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY) also. 02. Other instructions in this regard shall remain unchanged. 03.
