FEPD Circular No. 32: Extension of time for submission of application for Export Subsidy against export of Software, ITES and Hardware
The Foreign Exchange Policy Department partially amends paragraph 5(x) of FE Circular No. 03 dated February 08, 2018, to extend the deadline for submitting applications for export subsidies on software, ITES, and hardware exported during the 2017-18 fiscal year. Authorized dealer banks are required to accept these applications within 30 days from the date of issuance of this circular, provided the applications could not be submitted within the original timeframe for export value repatriation. This extension applies specifically to subsidies for goods and services shipped or exported in the 2017-18 fiscal year.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the provision of export subsidies against the export of Software, ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) and Hardware from Bangladesh.
Reference is invited to FE Circular No. 03, dated February 08, 2018, regarding the provision of export subsidies against the export of Software, ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) and Hardware from Bangladesh.
- In accordance with the government's decision, it is hereby announced that paragraph 5(x) of the aforementioned FE Circular is partially amended to state that applications for subsidies against goods/services eligible for subsidy shipped/exported during the 2017-18 fiscal year, which could not be submitted within the stipulated time for repatriation of export value prior to the issuance of FE Circular No. 03, dated February 08, 2018, shall be submitted to the concerned bank branch within 30 (thirty) days from the date of issuance of this circular.
It is requested to inform all concerned parties regarding this matter.
