FEPD Circular No. 36: Export subsidy with bond/duty drawback facility against export of Footwear and bag made of Synthetic & Fabrics

No. FEPD Circular No. 36 Date: ------------------ Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer All Scheduled Banks operating in Bangladesh Dear Sir, Regarding the provision of export promotion/cash assistance against the export of footwear and bags made of a blend of synthetic and fabrics, availing the bond/duty drawback facility.

Reference is drawn to your attention to FEPD Circular No. 25, dated October 30, 2024, on the subject cited above.

2. In this regard, it is informed that, in accordance with the government's decision, the export promotion/cash assistance at the rate of 3.00% shall be applicable for goods shipped between February 01, 2024, and June 30, 2024, and at the rate of 2.00% for goods shipped between July 01, 2024, and June 30, 2025, against the export of footwear and bags made of a blend of synthetic and fabrics, availing the bond/duty drawback facility on the materials used for export.

3. The applicable instructions in other related FEPD circulars/circular letters regarding the provision of export promotion/cash assistance against the export of footwear and bags made of a blend of synthetic and fabrics shall remain unchanged as before. You are advised to inform all concerned parties about this matter.
