Dear Sir,

Regarding the provision of export subsidy/cash incentive against exports for the fiscal year 2020-2021.

In order to encourage export trade in the country, the government has decided to provide export subsidy/cash incentive against the export of specified goods shipped from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, during the current fiscal year 2020-2021.

In this regard, the aforementioned facility will remain in effect for the fiscal year 2020-2021 at the existing rates against the export of specified goods mentioned in FEPD Circular No. 35 issued on September 22, 2019, and FEPD Circular No. 5 issued on January 30, 2020.

  1. In the matter of payment of export subsidy/export duty refund/cash incentive during the current fiscal year, the instructions of FEPD Circular No. 01 issued on January 07, 2020, regarding the implementation of instruction No. 1 of the second paragraph of FEPD Circular No. 35/2019, along with the applicability of the instructions of FEPD Circular No. 35 issued on August 25, 2020, regarding the scope of trade facilities in the first paragraph of FEPD Circular No. 35/2019, and the applicable instructions of all FEPD Circulars/Circular Letters related to the payment of export subsidy/export duty refund/cash incentive, will remain unchanged as per due process. This includes: (a) Circular Letter No. 06 issued on March 21, 2019, regarding the receipt of multiple benefits against the same export in the garment sector; (b) Circular No. 37 issued on September 29, 2019, regarding the provision of duty refund against the export of consumer electronics, electric home and kitchen appliances; (c) Circular Letter No. 25 issued on October 27, 2019, regarding paragraphs 9 and 11 of FEPD Circular No. 35/2019.
