Notice Relating to Filing of Interim Returns and Documents for Insurers in Québec – Half Year Ending April 30, 2014
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) requires Québec-licensed insurers to electronically file their half-year interim returns and supporting documents via the File Transfer Service by June 14, 2014. Submissions must adhere to specific file naming conventions and version compliance attestations, with complete signed paper copies retained at the insurer’s premises for potential examination. Failure to submit these documents within the prescribed deadlines subjects insurers to administrative monetary sanctions under section 405.1 of the Act respecting insurance.
