FID Circular No. 01: Establishment of Financial Inclusion Department
The document establishes the Financial Inclusion Department by abolishing the Corporate Governance, Green Banking and CSR Department and transferring its functions to the new department. It directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to direct all future reports and communications regarding financial inclusion matters to the General Manager of the Financial Inclusion Department. Dear Sir,
Regarding the establishment of the Financial Inclusion Department.
With the aim of integrating and accelerating the work of the relevant departments, the Bangladesh Bank has established a new department named the Financial Inclusion Department (ঋরহধহপরধষ ওহপষঁংরড়হ উবঢ়ধৎঃসবহঃ) by abolishing the Corporate Governance, Green Banking and CSR Department and transferring the Agricultural Credit and Financial Services functions from the Agricultural Credit and Financial Services Department. From now on, all financial inclusion-related work will be conducted by this department. Accordingly, it is advised to regularly report and communicate in all types of matters to the General Manager, Financial Inclusion Department, in accordance with the instructions given below in the circular and circular letter.
