Final Resolution of the 2018 Performance Evaluation of Institutions Constituting the Multiple Banking Sector
The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit issues the final resolution for the 2018 performance evaluation of multiple banking institutions, classifying the majority as satisfactory. Banco Bancrea, Mizuho Bank Mexico, and Banco Pagatodo received a non-satisfactory result because they failed to submit the Strategic Questionnaire within the deadline specified in Article Four of the Guidelines. The resolution includes results for institutions with more than five years of operation as well as those with less than five years for follow-up purposes.

FINAL RESOLUTION OF THE 2018 PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF THE INSTITUTIONS CONSTITUTING THE MULTIPLE BANKING SECTOR
The Performance Evaluation aims to verify that institutions direct their activities towards supporting and promoting the development of the country's productive forces and the growth of the national economy, based on a sovereign economic policy, fostering savings in all sectors and regions of the Republic and their adequate channeling to a broad regional coverage that promotes the decentralization of the System itself, adhering to sound banking practices and usages, taking into account, among others, the following aspects:
- Intermediation related to credit activity and resource collection.
- The means, facilities, and services through which institutions carry out their banking operations.
- The quality of services in the operation of the institutions.
- Performance in investment and foreign exchange activities.
The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit presents the Final Resolution of the 2018 Performance Evaluation of multiple banking institutions based on Articles Five and Twenty-Two of the "Guidelines for the performance evaluation of multiple banking institutions," published by this Ministry on December 31, 2014, in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), issued based on Articles 275 to 281 of Title Eight of the Credit Institutions Law titled "On the Performance Evaluation of Multiple Banking Institutions," amended by the "Decree by which various provisions in financial matters are reformed, added, and repealed and the Law to Regulate Financial Groupings is issued" and published in the DOF on January 10, 2014; as well as what is established in the "Resolution by which the Guidelines for the performance evaluation of multiple banking institutions are modified" published in the DOF on January 11, 2017.
The Final Results are presented in alphabetical order and include institutions with more than five years of operation during the evaluation year.
