FSD Circular No. 01: Submission of Financial Statements

Scheduled banks in Bangladesh must submit two copies of audited financial statements and annual reports within one month after finalization, as mandated by Articles 36 and 40 of the Bank Company Act, 1991. These banks are also required to submit half-yearly financial statements within one month after finalization. Additionally, specific submission deadlines apply for the period ending 30 June 2012 for Bangladesh Krishi Bank and Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, and 31 December 2012 for other scheduled banks, with submissions due within one month from the circular's date.

  1. All scheduled banks shall submit 02(two) copies of audited financial statements and annual report of relevant financial year within 01(one) month after finalization.
  2. All scheduled banks shall submit half-yearly financial statements of relevant year within 01(one) month after finalization. Moreover, all scheduled banks shall have to submit 02(two) copies of audited financial statements and annual report (as of 30 June 2012 for Bangladesh Krishi Bank and Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank and as of 31 December 2012 for other scheduled banks) within (01)one month from the date of this circular.
