Banks, DFIs, and MFBs must apply existing informal income estimation models to assess income and repayment capacity for applicants under the Wazir-e-Azam's Apna Ghar Program. This requirement extends the scope of models previously developed for low-cost housing finance applicants with informal income sources. Institutions are required to disseminate these instructions across their branch networks and housing finance teams.
