The Securities Commission of The Bahamas informs licensees and registrants that the UN Security Council Committee approved the removal of two entries from its Sanctions List on 30 July 2024. Registrants and licensees are required to update their records to reflect these deletions and ensure continued compliance with United Nations Security Council Resolutions. The Commission urges market participants to regularly consult the official UNSC websites to maintain accurate sanction screening data.

Date: 31 July 2024 Dear Registrant/Licensee: Re: International Obligations (Economic and Ancillary Measures) Act, Chapter 16 (IOEAMA): Yemen Pursuant to section 3A of the International Obligations (Economic and Ancillary Measures) Act, Chapter 16 (IOEAMA), licensees and registrants of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (the Commission) are hereby informed that on 30 July 2024, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2140 (2014) approved the removal of two entries from its Sanctions List of individuals and entities as specified in the United Nations press release attached hereto.
