Date: 30 December 2024 To: All Registrants and Licensees Re: International Obligations (Economic and Ancillary Measures) Act, Chapter 16 (IOEAMA): Libya Pursuant to section 3A of the International Obligations (Economic and Ancillary Measures) Act, Chapter 16 (IOEAMA), licensees and registrants of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (the Commission) are hereby informed that on 20 December 2024, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolution 1970 (2011) concerning Libya has removed the entry specified in the United Nations press release attached hereto from its Sanctions List of individuals and entities.
