11 June 2025 Dear Registrant/Licensee: Re: United Nations Security Council Updated Sanctions List: ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Pursuant to section 3A of the International Obligations (Economic and Ancillary Measures) Act, Chapter 16 (IOEAMA), licensees and registrants of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (the Commission) are hereby informed that on 9 June 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al‑Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities has removed the entry specified in the United Nations press released attached hereto from the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List after concluding its consideration of the de-listing request for this name.
