The document exempts all financial institutions operating in Bangladesh from submitting backup CDs containing monthly Integrated Supervision System (ISS) data in Excel and CSV formats. This exemption applies because the data submitted via the Digital Chortidhura platform is now considered sufficient for regulatory purposes, rendering the previous requirement for physical backup media unnecessary.
Integrated Supervision Management Department Bangladesh Bank Head Office Dhaka. Ref No: ISMD/Regulatory/2022/02 ISMD Circular Letter No. 02 Date: 09 Asharh 1429 Bengali Era 23 June 2022 AD To: All Chief Executive Officers of all financial institutions operating in Bangladesh.
Dear Sir,
Regarding the submission of data to the Integrated Supervision System.
Reference is invited to ISMD Circular No. 01 issued on 05 February 2018 on the subject above.
Paragraph 4 of the aforementioned circular instructed all financial institutions to submit their monthly Integrated Supervision System (ISS) related data via Digital Chortidhura, along with submitting a backup CD (prepared in Excel and CSV formats) of the said data to this department.
Now, since the monthly ISS-related data received via Digital Chortidhura is being considered, there is no need to submit the backup CD of the same data to this department.
Yours faithfully,
(Md. Abdul Mannan) Director (ISMD) (On Additional Charge) Phone: 57165903
