Jordan Central Bank: Renewal of Licenses for Loss Adjusters and Surveyors for 2023

Dear Loss Adjusters and Surveyors,

Subject: Renewal of License for 2023

Based on the provisions of paragraph (a) of Article (13) of the Instructions for Licensing Loss Adjusters and Surveyors and the Principles Regulating Their Work No. (8) of 2004 and its amendments, which states as follows: - "The loss adjuster or surveyor must submit an application to renew his license annually, no later than forty-five days before the expiration of his license, which falls on the 31st of December of each year, according to the form prepared for this purpose..."

Please proceed to submit your license renewal application for 2023, by the latest date of Thursday, November 24, 2022, with the necessity of providing us with the following:

1. Completion of the license renewal form available on the Central Bank's website and attaching the requirements specified therein.
2. A statement of loss settlement and surveying activities, as appropriate, that were practiced during the year, according to the form prepared for this purpose.
3. Signing the attached written declaration in accordance with the provisions of Articles (19) and (22) of the Instructions for Licensing Loss Adjusters and Surveyors and the Principles Regulating Their Work and its amendments No. (8) of 2004 and its amendments.
4. Providing us with a certificate of non-criminal record from the competent authorities.
5. Providing us with an updated copy of the commercial register or a company registration certificate with the Companies Control, as appropriate (extracted from the electronic website).
6. Clarifying the detailed address of your office location and providing us with a recent copy of the lease agreement for your office.
7. Payment of the due annual fees and attaching the deposit receipt.

We emphasize the necessity of adhering to the submission of the application by the aforementioned specified deadline so that we can proceed with the procedures for studying it and doing what is necessary. Please note that the aforementioned forms are published on the Jordan Central Bank's website (www.cbj.gov.jo).
