Latvijas Banka grants AS TWINO Investments permission to provide crypto-asset services
Latvijas Banka has granted AS TWINO Investments permission to provide specific crypto-asset services under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, effective June 4, 2026. As a licensed investment firm, AS TWINO Investments is authorized to offer crypto-asset custody and administration, exchange of crypto-assets for fiat currency, exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets, and execution of crypto-asset orders on behalf of clients.

Latvijas Banka has granted permission to the investment firm AS TWINO Investments to provide crypto-asset services in accordance with the requirements of the regulation on crypto-asset markets ( Markets in Crypto-Assets , MiCA).
AS TWINO Investments, using its investment firm license, is entitled from June 4, 2026, to provide the following services provided for in the MiCA regulation:
provision of crypto-asset custody and administration on behalf of clients;
exchange of crypto-assets for funds;
exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets;
execution of orders related to crypto-assets on behalf of clients.
AS TWINO Investments is an investment firm licensed by Latvijas Banka, the license to provide investment services and investment ancillary services was issued on August 31, 2021.
The MiCA regulation stipulates that financial market participants who have already received a license from Latvijas Banka for the provision of financial services are entitled to receive permission to provide certain types of crypto-asset services.
