Latvijas Banka Issues Investment Brokerage Firm License to SIA C Capital Markets

On July 22, the Supervisory Committee of Latvijas Banka decided to issue a license to SIA C Capital Markets, a subsidiary of AS "Citadele banka", for the provision of investment services and ancillary investment services.

The permitted investment service for the company is the placement of financial instruments without a firm commitment basis, while the permitted ancillary investment service is the provision of services related to the initial placement of financial instruments.

Following successful cooperation during the pre-licensing phase, SIA C Capital Markets received its license in less than a month after submitting the official application for the license.

Currently, operating licenses have been issued to 12 investment brokerage firms in Latvia.
