LETTER modifying the authorization bases for the operation of Caja Popular Purépero, S

Based on article 10, penultimate paragraph of the Law to Regulate the Activities of Savings and Loan Cooperative Societies (LRASCAP) and due to the modification to its constitutive bases agreed upon in its extraordinary general meeting of partners held on March 25, 2017, approved by this Commission through our resolutions 311-14978/2017 and 134-5861/2017 of May 23, 2017, and considering that said cooperative society currently operates under the LRASCAP, this authority fully modifies the Bases for its operation as a savings and loan cooperative society, contained in letter 311-871184/2007 and 134-870805/2007 dated July 13, 2007, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on September 7, 2007, to read as follows:

FIRST.

The name of the cooperative society shall be Caja Popular Purépero, which shall be used followed by the words Sociedad Cooperativa de Ahorro y Préstamo de Responsabilidad Limitada de Capital Variable, or its abbreviation S.C. de A.P. de R.L. de C.V.

SECOND.

Its duration shall be indefinite.

THIRD.

Its corporate purpose shall include the carrying out of all operations indicated in article 19, fraction II of the Law to Regulate the Activities of Savings and Loan Cooperative Societies.

FOURTH.

Its domicile shall be located in Purépero, Michoacán de Ocampo.

FIFTH.

The cooperative society shall have an operations level II.

SIXTH.

The authorization referred to in letters 311-871184/2007 and 134-870805/2007 of July 13, 2007, is by its very nature, non-transferable.

SEVENTH.

The cooperative society shall be subject to the supervision of the National Banking and Securities Commission, as well as to the auxiliary supervision of the Committee for Auxiliary Supervision of the Auxiliary Supervision Fund of Savings and Loan Cooperative Societies and Protection of its Savers.

EIGHTH.

The savings and loan operations that the cooperative society enters into by virtue of the authorization contained in letters 311-871184/2007 and 134-870805/2007 of July 13, 2007, as well as any other operations it conducts, as well as its organization and functioning in general, shall be subject, insofar as not expressly stated in the aforementioned letter and in this document, to the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, to the General Law of Cooperative Societies, to the Law to Regulate the Activities of Savings and Loan Cooperative Societies, to the general rules and provisions applicable to savings and loan cooperative societies issued by the National Banking and Securities Commission, to the provisions regarding its operations issued by the Bank of Mexico, and to other current and future norms and provisions issued by any competent authority, including those related to the prevention of operations with resources of illicit origin and financing of terrorism, which by their nature are applicable to it.
