The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago mandates a specific file naming convention for Leverage Ratio Return (CB100LR) submissions via the Go Anywhere portal. Licensees must use the format InstitutionCode_CB100LR_V1.0_MMMYYYY.xlsx, or their submissions will be rejected. This requirement applies to all licensed financial institutions and permitted financial holding companies subject to monthly or quarterly reporting obligations.
February 22, 2024 CIRCULAR LETTER TO: Licensed Financial Institutions and Permitted Financial Holding Companies under the Financial Institutions Act, 2008 REF: CB-OIFI-524/2024 LEVERAGE RATIO RETURN (CB100LR) SUBMISSIONS Reference is made to the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago’s (Central Bank) circular letter ref#: CB-OIFI-224/2024 dated January 22, 2024, in which the revised Leverage Ratio Reporting Template (CB100LR) was issued and we advised that submissions were to be made via the Central Bank’s Go Anywhere portal, twenty (20) working days after the reporting date. Further to this, we advise that to facilitate the receipt of the CB100LR via the portal, the following naming convention MUST be adhered to: Naming Convention: InstitutionCode_CB100LR_V1.0_MMMYYYY.xlsx Using the Central Bank as an example, the file name would be CBTT_CB100LR_V1.0_Jan2024.xlsx. Institution codes to be used are the same as those currently used for FEDM submissions. Submissions that are not appropriately named will not be accepted through the portal. All licensees are reminded that the CB100LR reporting is required monthly for all licensees on an individual basis and quarterly for all financial holding companies and consolidated entities. The Leverage Ratio Guideline can be found on the Central Bank’s website at https://www.central-bank.org.tt/publications/legislations-and-guidelines, while the CB100LR template and instructions can be found at https://www.centralbank.org.tt/publications/regulatory-returns/banking-sector-regulatory-returns. We look forward to your continued cooperation. Any queries regarding the implementation of the Leverage Ratio can be submitted electronically to the Central Bank via Baselconsultation@central-bank.org.tt. Please be guided accordingly.
