MariBank Philippines, Inc. Upgrade to a Digital Bank License and Change of Corporate Name
MariBank Philippines, Inc. has upgraded its banking license from a rural bank to a digital bank under the same corporate name. The Bangko Sentral Governor issued the Certificate of Authority to operate as a digital bank on 08 July 2026, following approval of the amended Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The entity commenced operations as a digital bank on 18 July 2026.

(A Rural Bank) [MARRB] to upgrade its banking license from a rural bank to a digital bank under the corporate name MariBank Philippines, Inc. The Securities and Exchange Commission approved on 16 June 2026 the amended Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws bearing the digital banking license. The corresponding Certificate of Authority to operate as a digital bank was issued by the Bangko Sentral Governor on 08 July 2026. MARRB commenced its operations as a digital bank on 18 July 2026.
