MAS Notice FSM-N04 on Cyber Hygiene Requirements for Insurers and Agents

The Monetary Authority of Singapore issued Notice FSM-N04 to establish mandatory cyber hygiene standards for insurers and insurance agents. The regulation requires entities to secure administrative accounts, apply security patching, deploy network security devices, and implement anti-malware and user authentication measures. These requirements became effective on 10 May 2024 following the publication of the notice on 9 May 2024.
