Modifying Circular 12/24 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular

The

National

Insurance

and

Sureties

Commission,

based on

the

provisions

in

articles

366,

fraction

II,

367,

fraction

II,

372,

fractions

VI,

XIII

and

XLII,

373

and

381

of

the

Law

of

Insurance

and

Surety

Institutions,

and:

CONSIDERING

That

in

accordance

with

the

provisions

in

articles

195

and

344

of

the

Law

of

Insurance

and

Surety

Institutions,

Institutions,

as

well

as

Insurance

Mutual

Societies,

may

only

close

their

doors

and

suspend

their

operations

on

days

that

the

National

Insurance

and

Sureties

Commission

authorizes

for

this

purpose,

through

publication

in

the

Official

Gazette

of

the

Federation,

considering

such

days

as

non-working

for

the

purposes

of

the

operations

that

said

institutions

and

societies

are

authorized

to

conduct

under

the

terms

of

their

respective

authorizations.

That

by

Presidential

Decree

published

in

the

Official

Gazette

of

the

Federation

on

October

6,

1993,

which

was

reformed

by

various

Presidential

Decrees

published

in

the

same

official

dissemination

medium

on

January

27,

2006

and

July

12,

2024,

the

Official

Calendar

was

established

in

which

the

historical

dates

of

national

commemoration

are

included,

which,

due

to

their

significance

and

importance,

are

mandatory

rest

days

for

workers

in

the

dependencies

and

entities

of

the

Federal

Public

Administration.

That

in

accordance

with

the

provisions

in

article

48

of

the

Internal

Regulation

of

the

National

Insurance

and

Sureties

Commission,

days

on

which

work

is

suspended

in

the

Commission,

or

when

its

offices

remain

closed,

after

giving

notice,

will

be

considered

non-working

for

all

legal

effects.

For

the

above,

the

National

Insurance

and

Sureties

Commission

has

resolved

to

modify

the

Single

Insurance

and

Surety

Circular,

to

read

as

follows:
