The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties renews the calculation of deadlines for the endorsement of authorizations for Individual Agents and Authorized Representatives of Legal Entity Agents, which were previously suspended due to the SARS-CoV-2 health emergency. Authorizations that required endorsement from the date the suspension began remain valid until February 28, 2023, including those that must be endorsed during this extended period. This modification applies to agents subject to the regulations of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular and the Regulation of Insurance and Surety Agents.

MODIFYING CIRCULAR 7/22 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR
(Transitory Provision Eighty-Fifth)
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on articles 91, 92, 93, 94, 366, section II, 367, section II, 372, sections VI, XXII and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions, and
CONSIDERING
That on January 11 and July 14, 2022, Modifying Circular 1/22 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, and the Clarification to the text of said Circular, were published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, respectively, in order to resume the calculation of deadlines for the endorsement of authorizations for Individual Agents and Authorized Representatives of Legal Entity Agents, which had been suspended due to the health emergency caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) through Modifying Circular 4/20 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, published in the aforementioned Official Gazette on March 27, 2020, specifying that the authorizations for Individual Agents and Authorized Representatives of Legal Entity Agents that should have been endorsed from the entry into force of the last mentioned Modifying Circular would remain valid until September 30, 2022.
That in order to provide legal certainty to Individual Agents and Authorized Representatives of Legal Entity Agents who continue in the process of obtaining the endorsement of their authorization, this Commission has resolved to issue the following modification to the Single Insurance and Surety Circular in the terms specified below:
MODIFYING CIRCULAR 7/22 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR
(Transitory Provision Eighty-Fifth)
SINGLE.- The text of Transitory Provision Eighty-Fifth, made known through various Modifying Circular 1/22 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular and its respective Clarification, is modified, to read as follows:
« EIGHTY-FIFTH. - The calculation of deadlines for the endorsement of authorizations for Individual Agents and Authorized Representatives of Legal Entity Agents referred to in article 15, last paragraph, of the Regulation of Insurance and Surety Agents, and Provision 32.4.1 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, suspended by Modifying Circular 4/20 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 27, 2020, is resumed. The authorizations for Individual Agents and Authorized Representatives of Legal Entity Agents that should have been endorsed from that date will remain valid until February 28, 2023, including authorizations that must be endorsed during the same period. »
TRANSITORY
SINGLE.- This Modifying Circular will enter into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
The foregoing is made known to you based on articles 91, 92, 93, 94, 366, section II, 367, section II, 372, sections VI, XXII and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions.
