19 APRIL 2024 FORMAL CONSULTATION ON SUBORDINATE LEGISLATION OF THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND MARKETS ACT (FIMA) The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) herewith informs the public impacted by the implementation of the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, No. 2 of 2021, of the following.

  1. NAMFISA has uploaded the recently gazetted Subordinate Legislation (Government Gazette #8347 – GENERAL NOTICE NO. 162 dated 16 April 2024), on the NAMFISA website, accessible via the link below: ➢ Link: https://www.namfisa.com.na/legislative-instruments/ ➢

  2. The public is encouraged to review and provide comments on the subordinate legislation.
