The National Banking and Securities Commission modifies the social capital of Banco Compartamos, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution, increasing it from $560,396,790.00 to $575,911,620.00. The bank is required to publish the modification notice in the Official Gazette and two widely circulated newspapers within fifteen business days of receiving the notice, and to inform the authority of the publication dates within fifteen business days of the publication.

Through Notice 312-3/0311/2020 dated October 14, 2020, this Commission approved the reform to Article Seventh of the bylaws of Banco Compartamos, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution (Banco Compartamos), due to the increase in its social capital from the amount of $560,396,790.00 to the amount of $575,911,620.00, in accordance with the minutes of the extraordinary general shareholders' meeting held on April 17, 2020.
With a submission presented to this Commission on January 6, 2021, through the email VPSupervisionGIFB@cnbv.gob.mx and in compliance with the requirement contained in the aforementioned notice, it sent to this Commission a copy of public deed 64,340 dated November 9, 2020, granted before Lic. Patricio Garza Bandala, public notary number 195 of Mexico City and registered in the Public Registry of Property and Commerce of this same city on December 15, 2020, under commercial folio 270503-1, in which the aforementioned statutory modification was formalized.
For the above reasons, this Commission, based on Article 8, last paragraph, of the Credit Institutions Law, deems it appropriate to modify point Third of the "Resolution authorizing the organization and operation of a multiple banking institution named Banco Compartamos, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution", contained in Notice 101-340 issued by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit on May 17, 2006, and published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on May 26, 2006, last modified by Notice 312-3/70333/2019 issued by this Commission on December 12, 2019, and published in said Gazette on January 3, 2020, to read as follows:
"...
THIRD.- The social capital of Banco Compartamos, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution amounts to $575,911,620.00 (five hundred seventy-five million nine hundred eleven thousand six hundred twenty pesos 00/100 M.N.).
..."
Likewise, based on Articles 8, last paragraph, and 97 of the Credit Institutions Law and Article 19 of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law, Banco Compartamos is required to inform this authority of the date of publication of the text of this modification notice, carried out in the Official Gazette of the Federation and in two widely circulated newspapers at its registered office, within a period of fifteen business days counted from the date of publication. These publications must be processed within the fifteen business days following the date of receipt of this notice.
This notice is issued based on Articles 16, penultimate paragraph, of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law; and Articles 12, 17, fraction X, 19, fractions I, subsection c), II and III, and last paragraph, and 40, fractions I and IV, of the Internal Regulations of the National Banking and Securities Commission.
