Notice No. 1/98 of the Bank of Portugal
The Bank of Portugal sets the discount rate at 5%. This notice amends the wording of the first paragraph of the first paragraph of Notice No. 3/93. It enters into force the day after its publication.
Notices of the Bank of Portugal Notice No. 1/98 The Bank of Portugal, using the competence attributed to it by articles 18 and 22 of its Organic Law, determines the following:
- The paragraph 1 of paragraph 1 of notice no. 3/93, published in the Diário da República, 2nd Series, no. 117 (2nd supplement), of May 20, 1993, shall have the following wording: "1. - 1 - The Bank of Portugal's discount rate is set at 5%."
- This notice enters into force on the day following its publication. Bank of Portugal, February 16, 1998. - The Governor, António de Sousa.
