Notice No. 14/GGBM/2001 Extinction of the Provisional Board of Directors of Banco Austral and Dismissal of Its Members
The Bank of Mozambique extinguished the Provisional Board of Directors of Banco Austral and dismissed its members following the bank's reprivatization. This decision, issued by the Board of Directors of the Bank of Mozambique, revoked the provisional board established by Notice No. 01/GGBM/2001. The notice took immediate effect on December 31, 2001.

Subject: EXTINCTION OF THE PROVISIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF BANCO AUSTRAL AND DISMISSAL OF ITS MEMBERS
With the reprivatization of Banco Austral, the reasons that led to the appointment, on April 3, 2001, of a Provisional Board of Directors for the Bank have been removed. Thus, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Mozambique, using the powers conferred upon it by Article 84 of Law No. 15/99, of November 1, and under paragraph 2, item m) of Article 46 of Law No. 1/92, of January 3, has decided:

To extinguish the Provisional Board of Directors created for Banco Austral, SARL., through Notice No. 01/GGBM/2001, of April 3, and to dismiss its members:

This Notice shall take immediate effect.
