Notice No. 2/2000 of the Bank of Portugal
The Bank of Portugal amends the first dash of paragraph (c) of paragraph 2 of Part I of the annex to Notice No. 1/93 to define mortgage loans guaranteed by mortgages on properties intended for the borrower's housing as up to 75% of the property value determined under Notice No. 10/94. This amendment enters into force on the day immediately following its publication.
Notices from the Bank of Portugal Notice No. 2/2000
The Bank of Portugal, using the competence conferred on it by paragraph (a) of Article 99 of the General Regime of Credit Institutions and Financial Companies, approved by Decree-Law No. 298/92 of 31 December, determines the following:
- The first dash of paragraph (c) of paragraph 2 of Part I of the annex to Notice No. 1/93, published in the Diário da República, 2nd series, of 8 June 1993, shall have the following wording:
"- Loans guaranteed by mortgage on properties intended for the borrower's housing, up to the amount of 75% of the value of the properties determined in accordance with paragraphs (a) and (b) of paragraph 15 of Notice No. 10/94, published in the Diário da República, 2nd series, of 18 November 1994."
- This Notice enters into force on the day immediately following its publication.
