Notice No. 2/96 - Bank of Portugal Discount Rate
Notice No. 2/96 amends Notice No. 3/93 to fix the Bank of Portugal's discount rate at 8.25%. This regulation enters into force on the day immediately following its publication.
Notices from the Bank of Portugal Notice No. 2/96 The Bank of Portugal, taking into account the Government's guidelines, and using the competence attributed to it by Articles 18 and 22 of its Organic Law, determines the following:
1st. Paragraph 1 of Notice No. 3/93, published in the Official Gazette (DR), 2nd Series, No. 117, 2nd Supplement, of 20-5-93, shall henceforth read as follows:
1st - The Bank of Portugal's discount rate is fixed at 8.25%.
2nd. This Notice enters into force on the day immediately following its publication.
