Official Letter Modifying Fraction II of Article Three of the Authorization Granted to La Peninsular Compañía General de Seguros, S.A. Due to Increase in Share Capital

OFFICIAL LETTER through which Fraction II of Article Three of the authorization granted to La Peninsular Compañía General de Seguros, S.A. is modified, derived from the increase in its share capital.

AUTHORIZATIONS TO INSURANCE INSTITUTIONS.- The authorization granted to that institution is modified due to an increase in share capital.

In view of the fact that this Ministry, by official letter 366-IV-5259 of this same date, approved the reform agreed upon in the sixth clause of its bylaws, with the fundamental objective of increasing its share capital from $25,074,250.00 to $43,074,250.00, contained in the testimony of public deed No. 45,448 of January 22 of this year, executed before the notary public Lic. Armando Gálvez Pérez Aragón, Public Notary No. 103 of the Federal District, this same Ministry, based on the provisions of Article 5 of the General Law of Insurance and Mutual Societies and considering what is provided in Article 6, fraction XXII of its Internal Regulations, has resolved to issue the following

AGREEMENT:

Fraction II of Article Three of the authorization granted in official letter 366-IV-4100 of December 11 last year is modified, which authorizes La Peninsular, General Insurance Company, S.A. to conduct life, accident, and health insurance operations, as well as damage insurance in the lines of civil liability and professional risks, maritime and transport, fire, automobiles, credit exclusively in reinsurance, and miscellaneous, to remain in the following form:

"ARTICLE THREE.-

II.- The share capital shall be $43,074,250.00 (FORTY-THREE MILLION, SEVENTY-FOUR THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS 00/100) National Currency.
