OFFICIAL LETTER modifying the Bases of the authorization for the establishment in Mexico of the representation office of the foreign financial entity Japan Bank for International Cooperation.

The Bases of the authorization for the establishment in Mexico of the representation office of that foreign financial entity are modified.

We refer to Official Letter No.: 312-1/2511044/2022 dated January 10, 2022, through which this Commission, based on the Eleventh, fraction VI of the Rules for representation offices of foreign financial entities (Rules), authorized Mr. Yuki Nakano to serve as the new representative of Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Representation Office in Mexico, effective from the date of said official letter, replacing Mr. Yohei Higashida.

As a consequence of the foregoing, this Commission, based on the Fourth, second paragraph of the Rules, has resolved to modify fraction III of Base First contained in Official Letter No.: 312-2/12857/2013 dated October 7, 2013, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on November 20 of that same year, by which the establishment in Mexico of Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Representation Office in Mexico, was authorized, to read as follows:

III. Its representative shall be Mr. Yuki Nakano.

... "

Likewise, and based on the second paragraph of the Fourth of the Rules, 97 of the Credit Institutions Law and 19 of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law, you are required to inform this authority of the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation of this modification official letter, within a period of ten business days following the date on which the aforementioned publication is verified, which must be processed within the fifteen business days following the date of receipt of this official letter.

This official letter is issued based on articles 16, penultimate paragraph of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law; 12, 17, fraction X, 19, fractions I, subsection f), II, III and last paragraph, 40, fractions I and IV and 58, first paragraph of the Internal Regulations of the National Banking and Securities Commission.
